The above map is from Google Analytics. If you have a website (and don’t mind Google knowing even more about you than they already do), it’s a great and lightweight way of getting enterprise-quality statistical analysis of your site’s performance.
The image above is from the past week’s traffic on my site. Greensboro is obviously well represented, as is Salt Lake City. But there are some surprises–namely Lima, Peru and a smattering of cities in China.
You know, every now and then I’ll get a comment from somebody in Japan (usually in regards to Pocky) or New Zealand, and realize the global nature of this blogging thing. But to have it layed out like that is pretty neat–in the last week, 6 people from Shanghai visited my site. Wow!
